Penemuan Fosil Kura-Kura Purba di Antartika

Baru-baru ini, sebuah fosil kura-kura purba yang berusia sekira 45 juta tahun, ditemukan di Antartika. Tulang-tulang yang ditemukan, hanya berupa dua buah fragmen cangkang dari kura-kura purba.
Situs penemuan itu berlokasi di gugusan La Meseta di Seymour Island, Antartika. Ekspedisi tersebut dilakukan oleh tim Antartic Institute of Argentina. Demikian seperti yang dikutip dari Live Science, Rabu (20/10/2010).
